Converse’s “Love, Chuck” campaign kicked off an incredible opportunity to celebrate the work of emerging artists Pablo Banuelos and Alyse Arteaga, who each offered their own love response to the brand’s campaign with personal video works. PAPER and Converse are throwing an event called “Love, Chuck: Scenes from LA,” the event will feature an incredible floral display reminiscent of Banuelos’ film Flower District with take-home bouquets by Danny’s Flowers and a cinematic manual film experience highlighting Celluloid by Arteaga. It’s all a fresh and interactive way to honor the iconicity of Chucks in fashion and pop culture through a Hollywood-inspired premiere of the artists’ works — and a chance for Angelenos to show up in their own Chucks and celebrate.
